Began his career in the Finance Division of Livedoor Co., Ltd. and the Investment Banking Division of Livedoor Securities Co., Ltd. simultaneously.
As an M&A advisor in the Livedoor Group, Mr. Miyazaki experienced numerous advanced and complex M&A transactions. Some of these transactions include private equity investments, fundraising in a Moving Strike Convertible Bond (MSCB), fund composition and management.
In 2006,　Mr. Miyazaki entered Septeni Holdings Co., Ltd. (No.2 Online Advertisement firm in Japan, listed in JASDAQ), and he was in charge of the Investment/ M&A department. Mr. Miyazaki supported the founding chairman and executive director by actively leading investment projects, planning investment strategies and executing M&A transactions (oversea transactions included) for Septeni Holdings Group.
In 2010, Mr. Miyazaki joined the investment bank Sharaku Partners Co., Ltd., and was in charge of the business development group, displaying his “Origination” expertise in M&A advisory.
Mr. Miyazaki has numerous experiences, the network, and a deep knowledge in regards to the apparel, entertainment, healthcare, and TMT sector (Internet and IT businesses) in Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, and other Asian countries.

After completing his judicial training in the Supreme Court, he entered the Corporate Group department of Mori Hamada & Matsumoto Law Firm, and was involved in many M&A transactions.
Mr. Kumazawa later started his own law firm “Kumazawa Makoto Law Firm” in Toranomon. Aside from M&A deals, Mr. Kumazawa is also involved with many corporate related lawsuits such as bankruptcy, business restructuring, labor, and resolving lawsuits.
In August of 2012, he welcomed a new business partner to his firm, renaming his law firm to Shin Saiwai Law office and simultaneously relocating to Uchi SaiWai Cho.
